Privacy & safeguarding
Your confidentiality and safety matter. This page summarises our commitments — full legal detail is in our privacy policy.
Privacy commitment
Beechwood House Healthcare handles personal data in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We collect only what we need to provide care, respond to enquiries, or meet legal obligations — and we keep it secure.
For full details on what we collect, lawful bases, retention periods and your rights, see our privacy policy.
Confidentiality in healthcare
Information you share during a consultation is treated as confidential medical information. It is shared only where you consent, where required for your care (for example, a referral or laboratory analysis), or where the law requires disclosure.
Safeguarding
We take safeguarding seriously — particularly for children, young people and adults at risk. If we have concerns that someone is at risk of harm, we may need to share information with appropriate agencies, in line with professional and legal duties.
To be confirmed with the clinic: named safeguarding lead, local authority contact details, and any clinic-specific safeguarding policy wording before launch.
Your rights
You have rights over your personal data, including access, correction and — in certain circumstances — erasure or restriction. To exercise your rights, contact the clinic using the details on our contact page.
